Sexual assault against women in the US army in the period from 2016 to 2018 increased by 44%, showed a new report of the Pentagon.
About 6.2% of military women reported that they became victims of sexual harassment or violence when carrying out an anonymous survey across the United States army. Previously 4.3% of women in the army reported that they were subjected to sexual violence.
The highest rate of violence in the marine corps to 11% of women. Least in the air force — 4%. The report says that almost one in four women “are suffering from the unhealthy climate in your unit.”
