To use force against Russia: Washington hopes that Moscow will release Ukrainian sailors

Washington strongly hopes that Moscow will reconsider its position for 24 Ukrainian sailors, which in 2018 was detained by Russian border in the Kerch Strait.

This opinion was expressed by Kurt Volker, US special envoy to Ukraine, during his a press conference, reports RT.

In the United States stressed that no power to force Russia to comply with the requirement of the UN Tribunal at the Ukrainian sailors will not.

Yesterday, may 27, the Moscow city court once again upheld the detention of Ukrainian sailors under investigation. In this case, the appeal was rejected on the closure case against the Ukrainian sailors who have violated Russian legislation.

The sailors will be in detention until July 24, when he will consider their case in Moscow city court.
