The Chinese Corporation Huawei appealed to the us court demanding the return of equipment seized in September 2017 during transport from the U.S. to China.
Huawei indicates that this equipment is not subject to the law on control over export-import operations, since it was first brought to the United States, and then sent to the country.
A defendant in the suit is U.S. Department of Commerce.
In mid-may, the President of the United States Donald trump has signed a decree prohibiting American companies from cooperation with Huawei. The organization was suspected of having links with the Chinese intelligence services, which allegedly transmitted user data.
Earlier on 22 June it became known that the United States has extended the black list of Chinese companies. After Huawei’s restrictive measures were five of the organizations alleged to develop supercomputers for military purposes or in cooperation with the Chinese military.
