Shcherbinsky district court of Moscow sentenced municipal Deputy Ilya Yashin-to 10 days of administrative arrest. About the Yashin said on his page on Facebook. He called the ruling a “political order”.
The court found the politician guilty of violation of order of organizing the rally in part 2 of article 20.2 of the administrative code.
Ilya Yashin was detained in the night of Saturday, July 27, on the eve of the opposition rally in Moscow. His apartment was searched. In the evening after the action of the Deputy re-arrested on Trubnaya square, where he arrived from the police station.
An inconsistent campaign “For fair elections” in the building of the Metropolitan municipality was declared in protest against the rejection of independent candidates for elections to the Moscow city Duma.
