Russian aircraft for the first time created an automatic engine control system.
The Russian PD-14 engine for medium-haul aircraft MS-21 were created from scratch automatic control system, said the developer of the system JSC “ODK-OLD.”
“Zero has designed fuel controls for MS-21, corresponding to the world level. For the first time this work is carried out in Russia”, — said chief engineer of JSC “ODK-OLD” Roman Panin.
PD-14 — the first since 1980-ies a Russian turbofan engine for civil aviation.
MS-21 (main plane of the XXI century) — a project to create a whole family of new generation aircraft that are focused on the most mass segment of the world market of air transportation.
The programme is currently being developed aircraft MS-21-300 (160-211 seats) and MS-21-200 (130-176 seats).
Flight tests of Russian aircraft MS-21 with domestic engines of PD-14 will start in 2020, reported the press service of the government of Perm Krai.
