Berlin has called the arrests in Moscow a violation of international obligations

Mass arrests of demonstrators in Moscow “in violation of international obligations” undertaken by the Russian authorities. On Sunday, August 4, reads the statement of the German government.

In Berlin believe that the police action was “disproportionate” because the protest was peaceful. The Russian authorities violate the right to freedom of Assembly and freedom of expression, said in a communique.
