Poland invited Germany and not Russia on the anniversary of the Second world war

Poland plans to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the start of world war II in the circle of relevant allies. The event, on the anniversary, Warsaw invited Germany. Russia on the guest list, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the President of Poland.

Every year Poland celebrates the day of the attack of Nazi Germany and beginning of world war II — September 1. Events are held at the site of the first bombing of Polish territory at the Cape of Westerplatte in Gdansk. Beginning at 04:48.

This year Poland will celebrate this day with countries, which “are closely cooperating in the interest of world peace based on the principles of respect for international law”, said the press service.
