financial aid suspended

President Donald trump has decided to temporarily stop payment on foreign aid.

Payments will be on hold until the state Department and the U.S. Agency for international development do not report on expenditures. It is known that the validity of the funds coming to an end on 30 September, the end of the financial year.

The number of accounts includes programs for many years had been wasteful, some are paying for solar panels in the Caribbean, space program in Pakistan, football camps in Guatemala and assistance to other countries, not in the interests of US foreign policy.

Total financial assistance from the United States is from 2 to 4 billion dollars. In particular, the funds for international organizations, international peacekeeping, international drug control, for health care in the world, aid for development, foreign military and aid to countries of Eurasia and Central Asia.
