Robot “Fedor” aboard the spacecraft “Soyuz MS-14”, waiting to retry docking with the International space station, told RIA Novosti in the press service of the state Corporation “Roscosmos”.

Russian spacecraft “Soyuz MS-14” robot “Fedor” on Board was launched from Baikonur cosmodrome on August 22. At 8.30 GMT on Saturday, the ship had to dock to the Poisk module of the Russian segment of the ISS. During the convergence at the distance of 99 meters, the ship hovered and began to retreat to a safe distance is 279 meters. Another attempt of docking will be conducted in the area of 8-9 am on Monday.

It was planned that Fedor will be the first Russian anthropomorphic robot on the ISS and will stay there until September 6, and the number 7 will return to Earth.
