A million species is under threat of extinction worldwide, however, instead of increased security is the easing of restrictions.
UN asks countries to intensify their actions to protect wildlife — for example, for the conservation of threatened extinction of the gray wolf and caribou in the United States or the polar bear in the Arctic.
But trump is doing the opposite — the wildlife service and US National oceanic and atmospheric administration announced that they adopted changes to the Law on endangered species, which, in fact, weaken the protection and will give manufacturers more opportunities for development in the areas where animals are under threat of extinction.
Currently, the types listed to threatened extinction, defined as “any species which may be under threat of extinction in the foreseeable future.”
