Two companies involved in the organization of money transfer, UAE Exchange and Unimoni began to cooperate with the blockchain startup Ripple, due to which they had implemented the transition to the blockchain payments.
Finablr – the company that owns the two brands, on Sunday announced the activation of translations in real time on the basis of RippleNet. The work started with the organization of international payments to Thailand. In the near future is expected to add a number of other countries.
“Adaptation of the blockchain opens up great potential for the optimization of remittances, as well as to implement convenient, fast and safe payments”, – commented on the event CEO Finablr, magazine promotion Manghat.
It is known that the work was carried out in partnership with Siam Commercial Bank of Thailand. Experts believe that the support of Ripple financial institutions may be regarded as the engine for growth in the value of cryptocurrency.
In addition to UAE Exchange and Unimoni, the company Finablr is the owner of brands such as Travelex, Xpress Money, Remit2India Ditto and Swych, which, in a short time, can also go to the blockchain.
At the moment worldwide at least 200 banks and financial companies are already using tools Ripple for payments on the basis of the blockchain.
