In 1989, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Khalifa Althani (Abdul Aziz Khalifa Althani) from Qatar ordered on the Porsche Exclusive division seven special Posche 959. Machine intended both for the client and members of his family, while the Arabs demanded that each instance had its own body color, combined with interior decor, as well as many individual characteristics.
Interestingly, a long-time Porsche Exclusive does not apply on this special order and only in 2011, when the division celebrated its 25th anniversary — the Germans in detail told about the done work, having obtained permission directly from the client. Moreover, the latter allowed the company to temporarily put one of those machines in the factory Museum.
Then at the booth of the exhibition complex was a Golden Dogdore, on the body which also been neat stripes of brown and beige. The car was put on five-spoke alloy wheels and got the nozzle of real gold on the exhaust pipes.
The cabin is also dominated by shades of gold, though on the seats and doors you can see the strips of white, brown and green shades. Plus on the steering wheel and gearshift lever here emblazoned the coat of arms of the family of an Arab Sheikh, and some elements got a decor of mahogany.
By the way, in the collection of the Sheikh is also a red copy Porsche 959 with the red interior, but the look of the other machines is unknown. Information about how much the customer cost party collectible cars, were not disclosed.
