Trump: I would get the Nobel peace prize if it were awarded fairly

President Donald trump on Monday mentioned his disagreement with the selection Committee that awards the Nobel peace prize, claiming that the trial conducted against him.

Speaking to reporters on the bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, trump said: “I’ll get the Nobel prize for many things, if they will make it right, but they will not be”.

At the meeting, the President discussed the latest developments in the disputed region of Kashmir, which is “sandwiched” between India and Pakistan. After trump declared himself a”very good referee”, a foreign reporter suggested that in the case of successful achievement of trump world, it is “very likely” will get a Nobel prize.

“They gave this prize to Obama immediately after his inauguration as President, and he had no idea, for what it was. You know, it’s the only thing I agree with him”, – said trump.

Barack Obama received the award in 2009, less than nine months after his stay in the White house because, according to the Nobel Committee, had made “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and called for the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.”

At the time this decision caused surprise even among some US politicians, especially in the context of the ongoing war in the middle East.

Trump has repeatedly expressed the idea that he deserves a peace prize for his efforts to establish peace on the Korean Peninsula, but the last trump meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN ended without a deal on denuclearization.

The President also has not developed a plan of his administration to bring peace between Israel and Palestine, which, according to trump, will be the “deal of the century”.
