Google has announced the creation of a new cloud region in Warsaw, stressing that this will help to improve the quality of services provided to the customers in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
This step means that the tech giant continues to invest in expanding the network of centers of storing and processing data around the world. A few days earlier, the Corporation announced that only the network of such centers in Europe plan to spend 3.3 billion dollars.
Google Cloud is now running in twenty different regions with 61 availability zone. In Warsaw plan to ensure the availability of the three availability zones, as in most regions, and run services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Engine Google Kubernetes, Cloud Bigtable, Spanner Cloud and BigQuery.
