Gas talks between Moscow and Kiev: Miller voiced the main question

The main issue of bilateral negotiations between Moscow and Kiev on gas – deliveries of gas under a direct contract.

This statement was made by Alexei Miller, Chairman of Gazprom, during a meeting with Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, reports the resource RT.

“The question of the transit agreement is extremely important, but still the primary question: whether Ukraine will buy Russian gas under direct contract?” – said Miller at the meeting with head of Russia.

Such a supply will provide an understanding of the fact which the price of gas will be for the ordinary citizen of Ukraine.

The Chairman of Gazprom said that if Ukraine will sign a direct contract, the price of gas will be reduced by 25%.

Alexey Goncharuk, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, said that Kiev is interested in a long term contract.
