Michael Jordan has funded the clinic for patients without health insurance

Six-time NBA champion, who won two gold medals and owner of the basketball club Charlotte Hornets 56-year-old Michael Jordan introduced the first of two health clinics, which he financed in North Carolina.

The institution will provide assistance to residents of Charlotte, including for patients with insufficient insurance.

Thursday, October 18, at the opening of the Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic, Jordan made an emotional speech.

The clinic will be open Monday through Friday from 8 to 17 hours. Its main objective is to improve access of medical care to patients who cannot afford quality treatment.

Jordan, as a student, started to play basketball, and then took him to the famous team Chicago Bulls.
