Sullivan accused Poroshenko’s unwillingness to fight corruption

Салливан обвинил Порошенко в нежелании бороться с коррупцией

The first U.S. Deputy Secretary of state and candidate for Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan said Wednesday that the previous President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko did not want to fight corruption.

“The main obstacle to anti-corruption reforms – is not a question of financial support from the United States, and the desire of the Ukrainian government to these reforms… We have seen this for two years and warned the President Poroshenko that we need to start anti-corruption reform. And desire there simply was not,” said Sullivan.
