A film about the Georgian-homosexual provoked bloody riots in Tbilisi

On the background of the rental in Georgia movie “And then we danced” enraged nationalists staged massive riots in the center of Tbilisi.

As previously reported by the News Front, the nationalists have dubbed the film of gay propaganda. They are outraged that the Georgian man authors of the film made homosexual.

As reported by local media today, the protest at the capital’s cinema “Amirani” escalated into a confrontation between right-wing radicals and security forces. During the incident a young girl was injured on their way to the screening of the film. Her head threw a stone. She is now hospitalized. During the demonstrations, the nationalists chanted “Shame” and even burned the rainbow flag of the LGBT community. Then, the radicals tried to storm the theater.

A film by Levan akin dancer is dedicated to Merab, who fell in love with his rival, Irakli. From November 8 to 10, the picture will show in all theaters of Tbilisi and Batumi.
