NASA will acquire two seats on Soyuz for the ISS flight

NASA intends to purchase two seats on the Russian Soyuz spacecraft for flights to the International space station.

It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the website of the us public procurement beta.sam.gov.

It is noted that one of the places where NASA intends to acquire on the spacecraft “Soyuz MS-17” and another on “Soyuz MS-18”.

It is clarified that this will allow Americans to provide a minimum stay of one American astronaut to the ISS until at least September 2021.

On 4 October the Executive Director of the Roscosmos manned space programs Sergey Krikalev said that Russia in 2020 will send to ISS a Russian crew manned spacecraft “Soyuz”.
