Another reason for the successful propagation of these animals could be their more extensive diet. Because coywolf eat pumpkins, watermelons, and other products of horticulture and even food waste. And they eat rodents and other small mammals.
To better understand this hybrid, the scientists decided to produce mating female coyotes with male grey wolves. The result should be not quite wild coywolf, but a very close hybrid. And even though two pregnancy resulted in live offspring in the same litter gave birth to six live pups.
