Natural history Museum of London announced results of the annual photo contest Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2018 (photographer of the year wildlife — 2018). The main prize went to the famous Dutch photographer Marsel van Osten. The victory brought him the two pensive monkeys, made in the Qinling mountains in China.
Photographer of the year wildlife is the largest in the world photo contest wildlife. In 2018, the winner the jury selected 45 from thousands of images submitted from 95 countries. Just woken up in Botswana, 8-year-old leopard and the mountain gorilla in Uganda who refuse to accept the death of her baby, became even among the victors of the contest. Monkeys male and female with pronounced blue faces were photographed in a wooded area Chinese mountain range Qinling. This is the only place on Earth where you can still observe in the wild, this endangered species.
“This image is a symbolic reminder of the beauty of nature and how we are impoverished as a result of destruction of natural habitats,” said a member of the jury Roz Kidman Cox (Roz Kidman Cox).

The winner in the category “Behaviour: Birds”. The photo was taken on Wolfe island in a remote area North of the Galapagos Islands, it depicts steinadler earthen reel, feasting on a large Nasca olose. Since the usual diet in the form of seeds and insects are not easy to find on the island, the finches with their sharp beaks in order to survive, drink the blood of these larger birds, thus their bites are pretty harmless.
