On 12 March, the price of bitcoin for one hour fell by 17%, breaking the mark of $6,000 for the first time in may 2019.
According to information Coin360, during the day, BTC lost about 25%, and some altcoins fell in price by more than 35%.
A well-known critic of cryptocurrencies Peter Schiff has managed to comment on the drop in his Twitter. He wrote:
Bitcoin fell below $6000. Holders of bitcoin still reassure ourselves that its price demonstrates the worst results. Oil, for example, fell by 50%. However, the rate of fall of BTC says that to reassure themselves they have little time.
Earlier, Schiff argued that BTC will never show growth rates.
