The administration of Colombia’s capital has released a series of free online courses through which citizens can more steal on the blockchain and other advanced technologies.
Sponsored by the municipality of Bogota Bogota program Aprende TIC aims to promote innovation and the development of new technologies in the city. They covers topics such as cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, Internet of things, the gig economy and technology of the distributed registry.
Course on blockchain begins with a description of its features, major areas of application, reasons for the popularity in the financial market, use of bitcoins and the impact of digital currencies on the global transformation processes. In the second part trainees tell about the working principles and concrete examples of usage, showing that the technology still has unexplored potential.
The program is designed for residents of Bogota over 14 years, but can enroll all comers. Course on blockchain for 4 weeks.
Many countries have already appreciated the advantages of using technologies for distributed registry and began to encourage their adoption in various sectors. For example, recently the South Korean government held a meeting with private companies, urging businesses to use the existing potential for the development of the industry of the blockchain.
