More than a million people worldwide have recovered from coronavirus. This is evidenced by data collected by Johns Hopkins University that tracks the cases COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. The number recovered has crossed the million mark on Thursday, April 30.

To date, the number infected with the potentially deadly virus is about 3 million people, at least 230 thousand patients died. This means that cases of recovery four times more than deaths.

In the first place by the number recovered, the United States, where, moreover, there are the largest number of infected. At the moment 153,948 of them recovered from the disease.

In second place is Germany with 123,500 recovered, constituting 75% of the total number infected, and the third is Spain with 112,050 (52% of the total number infected).

Experts emphasize that the number of survivors may be greater because the testing system COVID-19 still allows to estimate the exact scale of the pandemic.

A record number going on the mend — not only good news for the residents of the state. According to the latest data, to date, recovered in the country is twice more than the victims.

Only in the US were 1.11 million cases of the virus.
