A member of the U.S. Navy, which is one of the personal assistants of the President of Donald trump, has tested positive for the coronavirus.

“Assistants household staff” are members of an elite military unit serving the White house, and often work very close to the President and his family.

The white house confirmed to CNN that one of the staff of the President has tested positive for the coronavirus.

“Tests conducted immediately to the President and Vice-President, and these tests showed a negative result,” – said the Deputy press Secretary of the White house Hogan Gigli.

“Valets” responsible for food and drink not only of the President in the West wing of the White house, but also travel with him. Past presidents have relied on them not only in these matters, but also as Trustees. Valets, like many others, see private life of the President from within.

The white house continues to use the rapid test Abbott Labs, which gives results in about 15 minutes. Nevertheless, at the residence of the President are not complied with strict rules of social distancing for staff, and only a few in the building wear masks.

Trump said before flying to Arizona this week, not worry about what is in close contact with other people, as others of his staff check regularly.

However, a negative test and lack of symptoms are not good indication that someone can be a carrier and spread the virus, experts say.
