IMPORTANT!!! For the dough I use cottage cheese 0,5% fat! In order to avoid extra weight and excessive fat content of the test do NOT recommend using full-fat cottage cheese!
- 350-400 grams of flour
- 300 g of cottage cheese (grained, soft, not dry)
- 125 g sugar
- 125 g vegetable oil (odorless)
- 1 egg (+1 egg for greasing pies)
- 15 g baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 3 apples (500 g)
- cinnamon (optional)
- powdered sugar (optional)
METHOD OF PREPARATION
In a bowl send cheese (I use 0.5% fat), egg, sugar, vanilla sugar and vegetable oil. Mix well. Sift about 200 g of flour of the total, then add baking powder and stir. We pour in remaining flour slowly, in small portions. The result should be soft and pliable but not stick to hands dough.
For stuffing the apples, peel and seeds, grate on a coarse grater, the extracted juice is poured. Optionally add the cinnamon.
The dough is divided into two halves. Each of the formed sausage and cut into slices. Each piece of mash with your fingers into a circle in the center put a spoonful of filling and close up, forming patties. Spread them on a baking tray lined with baking paper, grease lightly scrambled egg.
Bake cakes at a temperature of 180 deg. the beautiful rosy color on average 30 minutes. The finished pies optionally sprinkle with powdered sugar.
