Acne Buterin: the Ethereum 2.0 will be launched in July (updated ― review Baterina)

The conference Consensus: Distributed Monday, may 11, Vitalik Buterin saidthat the launch of Ethereum 2.0 will start in July.

Buterin also noted that a team of Ethereum are developing a series of initiatives to scale, which can be implemented shortly after the successful launch of the network.

These include sharding, as well as new solutions for scaling, which is now undergoing testing. One of them is the decision of the second level called Optimistic Rollup, which, according to Buterin, “could theoretically scale the network to more than 1,000 transactions per second” even in the existing implementation of Ethereum.

Co-founder and former CTO of Ethereum, Gavin wood, who is also the founder of Parity Technologies, the conference criticized the project for its poor governance structure, which, according to him, prevents the development of Ethereum in accordance with the interests of the community.

Other members of the community Ethereum also confirmed that Ethereum 2.0 will be launched in July.

In the comments under the tweet developer of Ethereum Africa of Sedona, who had previously stated that the launch of the Beacon Chain will be the end of the year or in 2021, Buterin wrote: “Yeah, I didn’t say in July. Perhaps the question containing the word “July” but I did not hear the July, when asked.”

Sedan said, “the Final specification is not implemented in any client, and we have not launched coordinated test network”.
