Bitcoin.org website specializing in providing educational information about bitcoin, was founded in August 2009, Satoshi Nakamoto and network developer Marty Malmi.
When Nakamoto left the project in 2011, he transferred control over the domain name unbiased bitcoin enthusiasts to protect it from falling into the wrong hands. Now one of the owners Bitcoin.org Cobra plans to transfer control to the new participant.
