Transaction fees in the network of bitcoin fell nearly 60%

Over the last few days transaction fees in the network of bitcoin fell nearly 60%, the statistics service BitinfoCharts.

If six days ago, the fee for processing a single transaction was about $6,28, but now it has dropped to $2,61. While operating costs jumped more than 220% after the may halving (decrease reward of the bitcoin miners for the extraction unit).

This trend was a result of the completion phase of the appreciation of BTC which dominated during the two weeks preceding halving.

Researchers believe that the sharp drop in the size of the commissions occurred due to the gradual recovery of activity of the network users. During the last seven days, number of pending transactions fell by about 70%.

The amount of Commission is determined by such factors as the size of the transaction, the difficulty of mining and the actual number of transactions processed by the network. All these indicators continue to decline.
