When vipavadee wooden poles it is desirable to conduct their waterproofing over the entire surface, which will be in the ground. This will prevent rotting wood, so that the post will last for longer times.
What you will need:
- bitumen primer;
- a filler roof;
- gas burner or blowtorch.
The process of waterproofing the posts
Part of the wooden pole, which will be under the ground should be cleaned of bark. Then it is useful to impregnate the wood with antiseptic, to destroy the existing microorganisms that are able to destroy it. After that, the underground part of the pole greased with bitumen primer.
Next you need to ignite a burner or a blowtorch and spray top of the primer filler on any roof. This is the same technology as with the roof deck.
The roofing material is heated by the flame and rolled up to a pole with a roller or pressed against gloved hands.
You need to glue the pillar in a circle. The bottom end is not closed, just cover the primer. After that, the post is driven or concreted.
