A very simple way to make a soft and beautiful rug without knitting is to weave it on the frame with studs. To make it there is no difficulty: for this you will need the frame or just sheet of chipboard/Board, which driven the nails forming the shape of a square or rectangle, depending on what size and shape rug you need. The technique of braiding is very easy, even for newbie! The result turns out very beautiful, thick and soft hand-made rug.
So, you will need a work surface (frame with nails) and a yarn of two colors.
Of the yarn make a loop, tying a knot. The loop throws in the first nail vertically, pull the yarn to the opposite nail, wrap back to the first nail. Repeat 15-20 times. It’s a sort of stretched thick “string”.
Then wrap the yarn around the neighboring nail pulls on the opposite nail, repeat 15-20 times. All we need to do 8 of these rows (visually divide the frame horizontally into 3 parts). Then 8 nails noise, wrapping the yarn behind them, moving on to the next nail, repeat the work until the end.
It turns out this billet. The edge of the yarn tie a knot and attach it on the nail, cut off.
Take a yarn of a different color, make a loop and weave exactly the same ranks in missed nails.
Now on to the netting vertically. There’s already enough nails, so you can make 4 rows, you get a rectangular Mat.
Now on to the weave series. At one end of the yarn suscipiam a pin, and the opposite anchoring pin for convenience.
We’ll cross through one in the lower ranks of yarn. Unfasten the pin, put back the yarn on the nail.
Repeat with all rows.
It remains only to sew the edges of the Mat. This is threaded a yarn needle, fasten the edge of the pad node, a stitched together series (see video below).
Mat ready! It remains only to remove it from the nails and to cut the edges of the yarn to make tassels.
The work is finished!
