Unlike conventional hand saws for wood (European standard), where we push the fabric from itself, Japanese saws work a little differently. They allow you to cut yourself.
As a result, when sawing in wood, we make less effort. And due to the fact that the blade is not bent, the cut is even.
In this review, the wizard will show you how to make a Japanese saw with their own hands. For this we need a normal wood saw.

First, cut the Bulgarian part of the hacksaw where the handle is fastened. Then do the layout and cut rod to the desired shape.
In the next step machined our billet of a file or slipstone, removing all bumps and burrs. In the rear of the saw drill an additional hole.
Next, we produce wooden handle. We cut a groove in it under the sheet, then drill two holes and screw them in the furniture thread. The protruding part cut away.
If desired, the handle of the saw blades can be annealed with a gas burner. It will last longer and looks will look original. Processed sandpaper and covered on top with mineral oil.
Only then will link the two saws (blade and handle) together. For more reliable fixing of the canvas, the author uses the bolts (and the need for this was threaded bushing).
