I’m sure many of You thought about buying a small smokehouse (hot smoked).
In this article, the Eugene, the author of the YouTube channel “BEARDED WIZARD” will tell You how he made this device yourself from the old cylinder carbon dioxide fire extinguisher.
This art project is very simple to manufacture, and require a minimum of tools.

The process of making.
The first thing you need to “neutralize” fire extinguisher, fully releasing carbon dioxide!
Then, the container is fixed in the vise, and wrench , Unscrew the valve, and is removed together with the tube.
The author tried to remove the old paint by using flap sanding disc, but it stayed very tight. It was agreed to revert to this question later.
The perimeter of the upper part of the cylinder is marked with a line, and cut along the cylinder. Place the cut strip from burrs.
In order that the cover did not come off with the cylinder, a master cut out three small plates and welded them to the inside edge of the cylinder. It turned out a kind of constraints.
These plates can be mounted without the aid of welding machine, drill holes in the housing, and secure with screws.
At a distance 1/4 – 1/3 of the height from the bottom of the smokehouse are laid out, cernada, and drilled three holes with a diameter of 6 mm.
In these holes are inserted the long M6 bolts, and are fixed to the inside of the nuts. So work holders for pallet, which will drain the juice.
From the valve, Unscrew the gas tube.
Then cut off the pins that hold the arms and hands are removed.
Also unscrewed the nut from the stub.
The valve is fixed in a machine vise upside down, and it is drilled valve.
In the resulting hole is threaded a conventional nail, and its end is bent in the form of a hook. It will be suspended from the processed product.
Both handles are screwed into place on the valve by using a pair of screws and nuts M3.
The valve is twisted to its place, and it turns out the lid with a comfortable handle.
Of steel wire, the master bent U-shaped carrying handle of the smokehouse. At the ends the wire is bent at an angle of 90 degrees.
At the top of the tank was also drilled two holes for the handle.
For removing old paint, the author simply burns the smoker in the fire, and carefully washes it with water.
The outer surface of the smokehouse polished with emery paper and degreasing before painting.
The author then deals two layers of heat-resistant spray enamel only on the outer side of the smokehouse.
So, everything is ready. At the bottom of the smokehouse and placed a small amount of sawdust, about two handfuls.
On the holders there is a small metal container in which to drain off any excess grease and juice.
Eugene decided to cook the ribs, which he tied, and hung it on a hook in the lid.

To ready the fire fit a normal car wheel, and it is a smoker.
The optimum operating temperature inside the smokehouse is 270-300 degrees.
After pre-heating of the container, once the lid will steam, open it for a few seconds, and release damp air.
After some time the product is ready to use!
Be careful about your health, don’t eat the charred part of meat, just with the point of “fire” by the knife, these places need to ruthlessly cut!
