The process of making.
First, on a piece of cardboard, the author throws a quick sketch of the shape of the contours of the future profile. In this project it will be pretty pretentious.
First, he applies a profiled pipe 60X40 mm to the sheet with the wide side, and marks the edges of her sides.
In order to make the contours turned out to be symmetrical, applied to the transverse lines and diagonal.
Now on one side, the author draws future curves.
The outline is cut along the contour from one side.
The template is folded in half, then cut the contours are transferred in the form of a mirror on the other side.
When both sides are cut, the artist takes a piece of cardboard and applying the strip to the bending contour, repeats their outlines, each time bending the cardboard in the right place, and noting the checkpoint. Therefore, the master receives a total length of scalloped edge.
The strip is alternately applied to the wide side of the profile, and the sides of the marked edge strip.
