Using an electric jigsaw he carved plywood rectangular workpiece dimensions 60 X 45 cm, it’s the perfect size to move refrigerators and washing machines.

Near one of the edges using the crown on the tree, he drills out the hole for connecting the fitting to the pump. A hole is drilled in two work pieces, fixed on a workbench clamps with lining.
In the manufacture of the trial master used film from the old “classic” inflatable mattress Intex. However, it tends to stretch too much and breaks near joints under heavy loads.
So purchased a solid “rubberized” cloth. On the one hand it has the usual, rough surface, which will allow you to leave air between the fabric and the surface of the floor, and slide easily along it.

As the fabric practically does not stretch, you need to create a margin between the tissue and the rigid platform. To do this, it is laid polyethylene foam (size of platform), with a total thickness of 20 mm.
The top is placed the platform itself, and to its edges glued cloth, with the help of contact glue “Moment” (for PVC coverings). First you need to apply and smooth the adhesive on both materials.
A few minutes after drying the adhesive, the edge of the fabric neatly wrapped.
There is no need in strong tension, there are far more important than uniformity.
Last wrapped a corner of the cloth. They should also be tightly glued.

After bonding the platform flips upside down, and from each edge master retreats 100 mm.

The platform is completely ready. Pumping air into the device is a simple electric air pump, which is usually inflated mattresses or rubber boats. These pumps can be powered by a conventional power supply and 12 Volts (such as from a car cigarette lighter).
The capacity of these pumps also differ, and some may give up to 1 ATM (1 kg/cm2).
Andrew made a small tentative calculations. Even if we assume that the pump delivers a pressure of 0.1 ATM (100g/cm2), and take into account the out coming air from the bottom of platform sizes of 60 X 45 cm, then at least she can lift the weight from 50 to 100 kg. But this is the lowest possible! Platform with a good turbopump can lift a load of 250 kg.
