National Aeronautics and space administration (NASA) of the United States and Japan concluded an agreement on cooperation in the exploration of the moon, reported on the official website of the Department.

Declaration of cooperation was signed by the head of NASA Jim Bridenstine and Minister of education, culture, sports, science and technology, Japan Koichi Jaguda, specified in the message.

The agreement describes the plans of cooperation on the International space station (ISS) and the space program “Artemis”, including Japan’s contribution to the creation of a lunar space station and exploration of the surface of the moon.

“Artemis” is a program of NASA, which planned landing people on the moon and study the surface of Earth’s natural satellite.
