Hello, dear readers and DIY!
I’m sure many of You are listening to music or viewing films with your smartphone or tablet, but the built in sound is not enough.
In this article, the author of the YouTube channel “KJDOT” will tell You how he made a simple Bluetooth speaker in just a few minutes.
This project is designed to train students in the basics of electronics, and self-production of such devices in home environments.
— the class D amplifier 5W mono with Bluetooth receiver
— Full-range speaker 4ohm 3W
— Controller battery charging TP4056
— Li-polymer battery 3.7 V, 500 mAh
— Plug for PVC pipe, sheet acrylic
— Solder, wire, push button latching
— Bolt, washers, M6 nuts
Two — component epoxy adhesive
— Second glue, sandpaper, double sided tape.
The tools used by the author.
— Screwdriver, drill
— Electric soldering iron with adjustable temperature
— The third arm with backlight
— Hand jigsaw
— Marker, compass, knife, pliers, screwdriver.
The process of making.
So, as the body for this homemade perfect end cap for PVC pipes with a diameter of 2.5 inches. It can easily be fit amplifier Board control Board charge, and the battery. Also there are enough room for normal work of the small speaker.
First, the master tries on the power button, and drills her hole in the hull with a diameter of 8 mm.
Also marked a place for a micro-USB connector, and cut the hole.
To terminals B+ and B-on the charge controller, soldered the wires from the Li-polymer battery.
In parallel, they soldered two wires to power the amplifier.
Positive power supply wire is soldered in series to the power button.
The author uses a simple mono amplifier with Bluetooth receiver. The power connectors and speaker connections to unsolder.
It remains to solder the two signal wires to the speaker and the amplifier output.
Here is the assembled circuit.
Installation of elements into the case is simple enough. Amplifier Board is attached to the bottom of the case using double-sided tape.
Button the author sticks to the usual second adhesive.
Also on the double-sided tape attached and the battery.
Micro-USB connector of the charge controller is inserted into the prepared hole, and the fee is attached to the sides.
Used broadband speaker has a slightly smaller diameter than the body, so the author had to make an adapter ring out of sheet acrylic.
It is marked with a circle equal to the inner diameter of the casing, and hand-cut jigsaw.
Also had another circle, slightly smaller diameter than the body dynamics.
In the center of the resulting disk drilled 6 mm hole in it threaded bolt and lock nut with washers.
The bolt is clamped in the Chuck of miniature drill or screwdriver, and sandpaper the circumference of the disc is adjusted to the desired size.
All the same with a jigsaw, carefully cut out the inner circle. Edges are processed with needle file and polished with emery.
The resulting ring is attached to the speaker enclosure.
Two pads of cotton wool, the author captures inside the body of the double-sided tape. They have little to improve the sound of speakers.
Before final Assembly checks the operation of the column and a charge controller.
Speaker ring is glued into the case using two component epoxy glue.
Before using the speakers recharge the battery by plugging in the charger.
We are all set, just turn on the power, and synchronize the device with your smartphone or tablet.
Of course, you can buy a ready – Bluetooth-column on Aliexpress.
I thank the author for advice on creating a simple Bluetooth speaker.
All good mood, sound health, and interesting ideas!
