Angela Merkel and Vladimir Putin has condemned Ukraine for attempts to rewrite the Minsk agreement on Donbass.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel shares the position of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin about inadmissibility of a revision of the Minsk agreements aimed at resolving the conflict in the Donbass.
The leaders of Germany and Russia made during a telephone conversation on Wednesday, July 15, according to Russian Dialogue.
The interlocutors have criticized the recent statements by the representatives of the Ukrainian government, which demanded that the Western partners support the revision of agreements on Donbass.
Putin and Merkel called Minsk agreement the only platform to resolve the crisis in Eastern Ukraine and urged the parties to implement agreements reached at the meeting in the Normandy format in Paris on 9 December 2019.
The two leaders came to the conclusion on necessity of activization of work of advisers to the heads of the countries “Norman Quartet.”
