Chinese network blockchain services split into two independent entities, due to disagreements in relation to the integration of public blockchains.
State BSN consortium was founded to promote the country’s technology of the distributed registry, but now collapsed on the inner BSN-Chain and BSN-International, which is not obliged to comply with local requirements. The separation occurred after the key operated by the government members opposed the integration of five public blockchains (Ethereum, EOS, NEO, Tezos and Nervos) to the national network.
It was originally planned that the connection will allow developers to freely create dapps and run node in the Chinese corporate networks, using the resources of the foreign data center BSN. China thus becoming the world’s largest provider of infrastructure for blockchain-companies. However, according to local media, state organizations were not prepared to work with networks that they can’t easy to control and to censor.
Despite the controversy, five nod BSN-China still will be connected to the BSN-International, but they will need to fully comply with local laws and regulations.
In addition to the blockchain, China is actively developing the project digital of the yuan, which already began to join large private companies.
