Trump fears of rigging of the presidential elections in the United States

The President of the United States Donald trump during a briefing at the White house explained his proposal to postpone the election of the President of the United States. About it reports Reuters.

Trump said he did not want to postpone elections, but fears that because of mass voting by mail may occur fraud and the process of determining the winner greatly delayed.

“I want the elections and the result is much much more than you, — said trump told reporters. I don’t want to wait. I want to hold elections. But I also don’t want to wait three months and then find out that all the ballots went missing, and elections mean nothing”.

Trump explained that he wants to hold the elections on time, but in the format, when the voters vote on the sites, and not by mail. “If I want to change date? No. But I don’t want fraudulent elections”, — said the President of the United States.

Recall that the U.S. presidential election is scheduled for November 3, 2020. The US President has no authority to transfer them — this can only be done by Congress. The range of trump on the transfer was rejected as the Democratic party has a majority in the lower house of Congress and in the Republican party that is most at the top.

It is expected that this year the number of Americans voting by mail will not be record high due to pandemic coronavirus. The United States is the number of cases of this infection in the world
