In this review, the author will share with us the idea on how to make your own hands a small milling table. This requires a small angle grinder and various lumber.
Of course, this table does not replace a full milling machine but for a home workshop is a good option.
The first thing sawn off the workpiece with the desired size of the block of wood: you will need two short block and one long piece.
Budget idea for a workshop! The simplest drill stand for the drill.
In a long blank drill two holes for the bearings. Will need to drill another hole for an elongated clutch.
In the other two blanks also drill the holes for the bearings. The bearings are then press-fitted into the holes. An elongated set nut.
Two short blocks fasten the screws to the long bar. Small grinder attached to a rectangular platform made of plywood, which is then screwed to the previously manufactured part.
Next, saw off the two boards and drill holes in them. In one of the holes insert the bearing, then clamp the two boards together at a right angle.
Install guides. Join both parts together as shown in the photo below.
To the upper part of the guide, the author attaches the wooden bars. To him fasten a sheet of plywood (this will be working the table).
After that set screw, which will move the platform with the grinder up and down, thus regulating the departure of the cutter above the table surface.
In the last step will only need to make a rip fence that attaches to the countertop from plywood.
Additionally fasten the nozzle pipe to the hose of a vacuum cleaner.
