Step one: preparation of LED strip
In this project, the wizard uses RGB-W LEDs. The LED strip needs to be cut into 12 pieces of equal length. LED strips usually have certain places where they can be cut.

They serve to connect power and control wires. The address tape has three – plus, minus and data. For this assembly, the wizard will use the pads on the back of the tape. The glue on the back is actually on a thin sheet of clear plastic that you can peel off. You also need to add some solder to the copper pads.

This is the hardest part of the project. You need to follow this diagram during installation. The wizard has numbered all the bars and the arrows in the diagram correspond to the data flow. The green lines show the actual data wire connections he made between each lane. The 3 stripes have a longer data wire. It is important to remember that the data must pass through all lanes along a single continuous path indicated by the arrows.

A craftsman made a fixture to hold and align the LED strips while soldering. Basically, it is a wooden block with grooves in the corners for the LED strip. Note the arrows on the front of the tape. These arrows show the direction of data flow through the lanes.

Then he proceeds to the installation. First, solders all wires to the data pads. Then he solders plus and ground.
When soldering, you need to make sure that the wires are not bridged.

Next, the master measures the width of the soldered cube. Marks and cuts six acrylic blanks. Moreover, it cuts off not two sides by size, but one.

Now that all the acrylic pieces are cut out, you need to glue the translucent mirror film to them. Each piece of film had to be slightly larger than the acrylic panel. When applying the film, it is important that the workplace is dust-free. The static charge of the film can attract dust and affect the final result.
Peels off the protective film from one side of the plexiglass and sprays the surface with a small amount of soapy water.

Now you need to cut 12 aluminum corners for the frame. The craftsman measures the width of the acrylic plate and cuts off the corners.

Assembles one side of the frame + vertical posts. The panel is temporarily fixed with tape. The corners are glued to the corners with epoxy resin.
