The of the United States became the target of online mockery after footage of her walking alongside President in a green dress ended up being edited, with the garment being used as a green screen. The dress was used to display images on the surface of her green dress, including pictures of cells.
While the style blunder was not the first of its kind, Twitter users poked fun at the dress’ bright green tone, likening it to a green screen.
One person wrote: “I must say the Coronavirus does make a nice pattern.”
Another Twitter user added: “I think she knew what she was doing. Green screen green? Good choice!
”A third user said: “Another ‘I really don’t care’ moment… First Lady Melania Trump was focused on finished a photo project for her coffee table book as a mob of Trump supporters broke into the US Capitol on Wednesday.”
However, some believed the edited footage was disrespectful, labelling the video as “childish”.
One person said: “This is just uncalled for. I believe this is bullying.
“How can you call yourself an adult?“Most of you hate President Trump for the things he says.“So how does this separate you from him? Grow up.”

The First Lady had previously sparked outrage after she was seen wearing an olive green jacket with the words “I really don’t care, do u?” emblazoned.
She wore the controversial piece to visit to a Texas centre for migrant children after President Trump was forced to change his immigration policy after the global outcry was ramped up.
A former White House aid explained a potential theory behind the look in an expert obtained by the Daily Mail.
In her book Unhinged Omarosa Manigault said she believed Ms Trump was hitting out at her husband with the outfit.
She wrote: “It’s my opinion that Melania was forced to go to the border that day in June, essentially, to mop up her husband’s mess.
”Ms Manigault went on to claim that Ms Trump had set out to upset her husband by creating controversy.
She added: “Taken as a whole, all of her style rebellions have served the same purpose, and not only misdirection and distraction—strategies her husband knows all too well.
“I believe Melania uses style to punish her husband.“
She wore that jacked to hurt Trump, setting off a controversy that he would have to fix, prolonging the conversation about the administration’s insensitivity, ruining the trip itself, and trying to make sure that no one asked her to do something like that again.”
Press secretary for the White House Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended the Trumps, saying the book is “riddled with lies and false accusations.”
