Donald Trump to leave White House ‘at 8am on Wednesday’ before Biden inauguration

Donald Trump convinced fans ‘there is no truth’ claims Comey

The outgoing President will leave the executive residence on Air Force One after a farewell ceremony following his term in office. The event will purportedly take place at Joint Base Andrews, in Maryland, with invitations asking guests to arrive at the location between 6am and 7:15am.

Those attending the ceremony may bring up to five other people with them, but have been requested to wear face coverings, Bloomberg reported.

Mr Trump is set to issue around 100 pardons and commutations on his final full day in office Tuesday, three sources told CNN.

Among those begging for pardon, are some of the rioters who stormed the Capitol building on January 6 as Congress was in the process of certifying Mr Biden’s electoral win.

A real estate broker who joined the unrest called on Mr Trump to pardon her after her home was raided by the FBI.

Jenna Ryan, who left evidence of her trip to Washington DC across social media, asserted “we all deserve a pardon”.

She told CBS11: “I’m facing a prison sentence. “I think I do not deserve that. I would ask the president of the United States to give me a pardon.”

Speaking on Fox News, Senator Lindsey Graham opposed the pardoning of those involved in the riots that resulted in the deaths of five people.

He said: “There are a lot of people urging the President to pardon the folks [involved in the riots]. To seek a pardon of these people would be wrong.”

Former CIA officer John Kiriakou, who was imprisoned in 2012, is also seeking pardon for leaking the identity of an operative involved in torture.

An associate of Rudy Giuliani, Mr Trump’s personal lawyer, told Mr Kiriakou a pardon was “going to cost $2m,” according to a New York Times report.

Mr Kiriakou allegedly told the newspaper: “Two million bucks – are you out of your mind?

“Even if I had two million bucks, I wouldn’t spend it to recover a $700,000 pension.”
