In the court of Massachusetts reveals details of the activities of one of the richest families in America, which is profiting from the national opioid crisis.

Against the Sackler family members and their company Purdue Pharma filed a lawsuit that accuses them in that they benefit from opioid crisis through aggressive marketing of oxycontin to sell it at a large scale.

“For many years Purdue Pharma, its leaders and members of the Sackler family tried to blame others and to hide his role in creating the epidemic of opioids. The court lifted the ban on the publication of details of the claim, and now the public and the families who suffered so much from this crisis, can find allegations of misconduct, which caused so much damage, “ said the attorney-General of Massachusetts, Maura Healey.
