Step one: rim
First you need to bend the rim, it is the main frame of the electric unicycle. For bending, you need a special bending machine.

Next, you need to make or get the rollers. The craftsman made them from a nylon blank. For the groove, he made a special semicircular cutter. I drilled holes for bearings on both sides of the rollers.

Next is finding the drive wheel and sprocket. After searching, the choice of the master stopped at the front wheel of the Honda XR50. I screwed an asterisk to the wheel. To do this, we had to drill the mounting holes in the rim. To center the sprocket, a guide was printed on the 3D printer. To increase the contact patch, the protruding part of the tread was cut from the tire.

After installing the rollers, engine, drive wheel, you need to install the batteries. The craftsman placed both batteries under the seat, in a plywood box covered with vinyl.
Next, you need to make a chain tensioner. The tensioner is made of aluminum in the form of a plate. The upper part is attached to the frame. A groove is cut out at the bottom and a video clip is attached.

The underside of the seat is 3D printed and also covers the battery drawer. The seat is screwed to this part.

The steering wheel from an ATV is used as a steering wheel for an unicycle. In principle, any suitable handlebar with the correct geometry can be used. Here we must not forget that as the speed increases, the driver's height will also change.

You can use any tire that suits the size. The main thing is that it covers all the spaces of the rim and does not cover the rollers. It is clear that one tire is not enough, the master simply cut the required amount and fixed it on the rim. Fastened with glue and self-tapping screws.
