The author, whose project I bring to your attention, claims that it is possible. Moreover, he encloses a video that confirms his words. My personal opinion, I admit that this is another trick like with perpetual motion machines on permanent magnets, or a luminous lamp when you bring a magnet to it, but the author is persistent and his arguments are similar to the truth. Everyone can check the veracity of his statements, the installation is not complicated and not costly. And so we begin to delve into.
The author has his own garden, we will not judge strictly the author why he does not pump water with electricity. He has planted plants that he sprinkles with water from the lake.
To facilitate your labor, it was decided to make a structure capable of raising water above the level of the lake for watering plants. The author claims that the project is working, the longer the water supply, the greater the weight of the water in the system, the more confident the circulation takes place. We use this system to pump water from a river or pond. This is such a small idea that anyone can try at home.
And yet I am tormented by doubts, I can’t believe that the law of physics is so easily broken. If it were that simple, then humanity would have endless energy, which does not exist yet. Most likely, there is a pump in the lake at the end of the pipe, it pushes the water, or the upper tap is slightly open and the water simply flows out under the influence of gravity.
What if I'm wrong? Theoretically, the large weight of the merging water, passing through the pipeline, creates an impressive vacuum in the tank, in the barrel, which, theoretically, can suck liquid in a short section of the pipe.
In short, everyone can try to repeat this project and try to deceive Archimedes' law.
And there is a proven way to raise water to a height. True, it is not possible to apply it everywhere. For the installation to work, a number of requirements must be met. And in the first place, a landscape difference of at least 400 mm is required. It can be a small river with rapids, a dam, a spring.
This installation is called “Hydra ram”. The pump runs without electricity or other fuel. With the help of a water hammer and two valves, water easily rises to a height, the greater the difference, the higher the rise of the water column. It can work continuously for months without supervision and maintenance, supplying water to a small village or farm.
The pump works due to water hammer – a sharp increase in pressure in the pipeline. Water moves through the pipe and is poured out through the valve. When the valve closes abruptly, the water continues to move, opens the second valve and rushes up the pipeline, compressing the air spring. When the wave attenuates, the shut-off valve closes, the external valve opens and water is discharged outside. The process is repeated and repeated.
The device is the simplest. Tee, two valves, adapter, valve and filter – flask. After collecting all the parts, the pump is ready for operation without any special settings.
Water is raised from a height of 1000 mm by 4000 mm and pours out in a uniform stream. An excellent device, but there is a fly in the ointment, from the supplied volume of water, only 50% to 15% is pumped, depending on the lifting height. It cannot be used in stagnant water.
