To protect the Russian commodity: Medvedev has extended sanctions against Ukraine

The Prime Minister said about the need to protect domestic producers, which is why it is introducing additional sanctions against Ukraine.

Dmitry Medvedev said that the corresponding decision is already signed but it has not appeared on the official website of the Russian government, the resource LIGAnews.

On his page in Twitter the Prime Minister said that the sanctions list in respect of individuals and legal entities of Ukraine expanded. This was done with the sole purpose to protect the Russian goods.

Until then, Moscow had only restricted the export of goods from the territory of Ukraine. In turn, Ukraine has imposed sanctions against Russian companies 750 and 1,700 people in April 2014.

Dmitry Medvedev stressed that the sanctions will directly affect only those Ukrainians and their companies that harm Russia.
