7-year-old Bronx girl in critical condition after being found unresponsive in LI pool


A 7-year-old Bronx girl is clinging to life after she was found unresponsive in a Long Island resort pool Thursday, cops stated. 

A relative of Katlyn Pineda found her round 4:50 p.m. Thursday in a pool on the Marriott Melville Long Island on Walt Whitman Road, Suffolk County authorities stated. 

Pineda was rushed to Plainview Hospital in critical condition.

She was then transported to Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Queens, and her condition remained the identical Friday, cops stated. 

Police didn’t have additional particulars on the circumstances, however stated Friday that foul play was not suspected in the incident.
