Let's make a check assembly, if something interferes, it will be necessary to modify the groove (the knives should move freely relative to each other).

Mark the places fastening the bracket and drill a little less than the diameter of the self-tapping screws, they must match for subsequent precise installation (it is necessary to attach the assembled structure of the machine with the bracket so that the nut in the upper knives is opposite the central hole in the desktop).
Let's fix the structure with self-tapping screws.
The next step is to assemble another structure using a profile pipe.
Fix in yew, a longer pipe segment and to it, about one third, we fix a smaller segment perpendicularly.
Apply a weld seam.
Cut a groove on this workpiece in a smaller segment.
The resulting we will drill holes in the ears.
Let's make holes to fix the structure on the device desktop.
We will make a lever from a profile pipe of a smaller section, it must fit between the ears of the T-shaped workpiece.
Install the lever to the prepared place.
Let's fix the resulting structure on the device desktop, so that the edge of the longer arm of the lever coincides with the central hole in the table.
Using two links of the old chain from the chainsaw, install them in the grooves along the edges of the lever. After riveting, the links should not be clamped and move freely.

Install the nail file into the upper knives, holding tightly with the previously placed bolt and nut.
